Condition (please see detailed photo's): Very good In great overall condition with just a very small (2mm x 5mm) flake/chip on the back edge and two small (2mm) fleabite flakes also on the back rim edge and is otherwise excellent with just some totally insignificant subtle stain in places on the back rim only (nb the very thin brown line on the underside of the outer rim is only some adhesive residue from historic tape and will easily clean off if so desired)

Description: This lid features a great pictorial of the fabulous twin-spired Cologne Cathedral (although only one spire is evident on the lid). An impressive and popular lid.

Condition (please see detailed photo's): Fair Has a long and thin area to the right side (between 2 and 4 o'clock and around (5mm x 50mm) which has had a high quality repair (hard to spot at first) which includes the black line border being touched-up but nothing inside of the border and otherwise a medium (30mm) light hairline on the face within what looks like a patch of rust stain (on the face at 11 o'clock and on the side-wall) which carries onto the side wall and a small (5mm) curved hard to spot hairline bruise on the outside edge at 1 o'clock on the face (with a long (20mm) thin scrape along the side edge) and is otherwise good with just a very small (3mm x 5mm) flake on the inside of the back rim

Description: A truly fabulous medium-sized pictorial lid from this London retailer that features a superb depiction of a man shaving in period attire with a cut throat razor in right hand and an old oak washstand in the background. Double line border. Great use of detailed strong print and contrasts of shades to really make this lid stand out. Exceptional print quality!
Not to be confused with the almost identical American 'Wright's' lid, this is both rarer, smaller and a much more desirable English variant.
