** One of several superb lids from not one but two large and significant pot lid collections, all to be spread over 2/3 auctions **
Era: c1880-90's
Diameter: 80mm
Condition (please see detailed photo's): Very good Great condition with just an insignificant tiny (1-2mm) fleabite flake on the underside of the outer edge (not visible at all on display and in fact barely visible anyway) and an equally small in-manufacture tiny flake on the back rim edge that is completely glazed over, a tiny (3mm x 1mm) indentation in the glaze on the face (over one of the leaves) which definitely looks to be in manufacture anyway and which is pretty much hidden anyway and apart from a tiny (1mm) fleabite on the very back rim (also hardly worth mentioning) is otherwise excellent. (nb the subtle mark on part of the back are where the glaze hasn't been applied to the very edge and in no way detracts)
Grade: 8.7 Estimate: £80-100 Reserve: N/R
