Ink: PETROL BLUE BOAT
Description: Another extremely rare offering, this time an ordinary 'boat ink' but in a fabulously vibrant mid-petrol blue. This colour is seldom seen on any ink other than the square four penrests (and even they are scarce and desirable). This one also has attractive brown striations swirling around the shoulders and neck and some tiny white speck inclusions near the surface of the glass.
** ex-Roger Pellow collection **
Era: c1880-1900's
Dimensions: 48mm tall / 50mm long / 38mm wide
Condition (please see detailed photo's): Good Just has the usual small (3mm x 9mm) de-corking sliver on the side of the lip/neck (that tends to blend in anyway), some slightly opoque haziness inside the neck in places and looks to have been cleaned/dipped at some time (to a good standard) and is otherwise excellent.
