Description: A scarce 10oz Chapman's Rubber Ball patent from the Terry Jackson collection, with four round 'dimples' near the top. Fabulous 'thatcher' cottage rebus trade mark to centre. Just the odd remnants of rubber ball still inside. Full sheen. Rarely seen for sale.
** From the fabulous collection of Terry Jackson who spent many years scouring the local area for decent items. This is amongst the last of his items now **
Era: c1870-80's
Dimensions: 215mm tall / 63mm diameter at base
Condition (please see detailed photo's): Very good/Excellent Superb condition with just the small very light and pretty insignificant rub/ scratch in the odd place but nothing to detract in any way. There is a thin film of an oily residue inside in places which could be from the rubber ball? Either way it looks like it should clean out OK if so desired
