Pot Lid:     'THE ALLIED GENERALS'

Description:  A large coloured lid produced by the Pratt factory in Staffordshire, England depicting Commanders in Chief of the British and French forces Field Marshall Lord Raglan and General Canrobert. Fabulously detailed with vibrant colours and clear print. 
The diamond registration mark (below the image) dates the design to 29th December 1854

Rated as 'Rare' and £80-120 in Mortimer's 'Coloured Printed Staffordshire Wares' Pot Lid Book

Condition (please see detailed photo's):  Excellent  Superb condition (with just 2 miniscule and totally insignificant pinhead fleabites/glaze rubs on the very back of the rim (barely visible) and some very slight wear in one area on the rim edge (very minor) and would otherwise have been 10/10
