| | Pot Lid: 'PRICE & CO'
Description: A superb early 'Circassian Cream' lid from this famous London firm. Four-pronged star variant (right and left) with finely printed depiction of young lady with braids and floral adornment. Attractive decorative border. Fine quality print. Scarce and desirable
Price & Co - 246 Regent Street & 28 Lombard Street, London
Era: c1860-1870's
Diameter: 64mm
Condition (please see detailed photo's): Repaired Has had some top quality restoration on parts of the back flange to such a high quality it is nigh on impossible to ascertain the extent. However it displays so well and due to the exceptional quality of repair you'd hardly know unless scrutinised with a magnifying glass. It may only be a few large chips, it's not easy to tell. The face is totally original with just a very small and insignificant light scuff which in no way detracts.
